ILSI Member App

The ILSI Member app puts the parts of your membership you may need in a hurry — proof of who you are, copies of your papers, and a way to raise the alarm — on the phone in your pocket. It is free for every ILSI member and works on Android and iPhone.

The app is built for the conditions migrant workers actually work in. Your membership card and your rights guides are stored on the phone, so they open with no signal and no data. The SOS button sends the smallest possible message first and fills in the detail when the connection allows, so a weak network delays your alarm rather than losing it.

Signing in is the same as this website

There is no separate app password. You sign in with the phone number registered to your membership and a six-digit code sent by SMS. If you later set a PIN, you can use that instead for faster access — useful if you are somewhere you cannot receive messages easily.

What it costs and what it uses

The app itself is free and contains no advertising. It is small — under 30 MB — and after the first sign-in it uses very little data: your card and guides are already on the device, and only messages, documents and SOS alerts need a connection.

Your privacy

Documents you store are encrypted before they leave your phone, and your location is only ever shared when you trigger an SOS or when you have explicitly turned on safety check-ins. You can see exactly who you have shared what with, and withdraw it, from the Safety and Privacy screens.
