What Is Covered
A clear, item-by-item table of what each ILSI membership tier covers and what falls outside membership, so there are no surprises.
Clarity about what membership does and does not cover is part of how ILSI keeps trust with its members. ILSI offers one level of membership — full cover. The table below sets out the membership benefits every member receives.
| Service | Membership Benefits |

| 24-hour emergency helpline | Yes |
| Legal casework during employment | Yes |
| Membership card verification | Yes |

Helpline
Every member has access to the same emergency helpline and legal casework team described in during employment.
What membership does not cover
- Membership is not an insurance policy and does not itself pay compensation; it provides advice, casework and referral to appropriate legal, medical or consular services.
- Membership does not replace a licensed lawyer for formal legal proceedings — see our disclaimer and find a lawyer.
- Membership does not guarantee a specific job, wage, or investment return.
Fees for each tier are set per corridor and published at enrolment — see how to join.
Why we publish this table plainly
Migrant workers are frequently sold services, insurance products and membership schemes with vague or overstated promises about what they cover, often only discovering the gaps when they most need the support. ILSI publishes this table in the same plain terms used at enrolment specifically so members and prospective members can check, at any time, exactly what they are entitled to — and, just as importantly, what they should seek elsewhere, such as a licensed lawyer through our lawyer directory for formal legal proceedings.
If you are unsure what your tier covers for your situation
Contact your nearest ILSI office or the helpline for your country and describe your situation. Staff can confirm exactly what support you are entitled to under your specific membership tier before you need it, not only after.
Reading this table alongside your contract
This table describes what ILSI membership provides. It does not describe, and does not replace, the separate legal protections you already have under your employment contract and the labour law of your destination country — for example, your right to be paid on time. ILSI's role, described throughout Get Help, is to help you enforce those existing rights, not to grant new ones.
