ILSI — International Legal Support and Investment

Global Network

ILSI's office network spans the United Kingdom and Nepal, with corridor liaison points across our active labour migration corridors.

ILSI operates from a core office network in the United Kingdom and Nepal, supported by corridor liaison points wherever our pilot programme places workers. This structure keeps ILSI close to both the origin community that our members leave from and the destination workplaces where they are employed.

How the network functions

Nepal-based staff lead pre-departure preparation, member enrolment, and reintegration support once workers return. UK-based staff lead policy, research, development-finance partnerships, and support for the corridor into the United Kingdom itself. Corridor liaison points in the GCC states, Malaysia and the Republic of Korea provide a local point of contact for the emergency helpline and casework team described in emergency helplines.

Office locations, opening hours and contact details for each location are listed below.

Why a physical network still matters

Much of ILSI's work can and does happen over the phone or online, especially for a member already abroad who needs the emergency helpline. But some of the most important moments — the pre-departure contract check described in before you depart, and the reintegration conversation described in return and reintegration — work far better in person, in a worker's own language, in a place they can walk into without needing a smartphone or reliable data connection. The physical office network exists for exactly these moments.

Growing with the pilot

ILSI's network today reflects the four corridors of the Nepal pilot. As the pilot matures and, in time, ILSI considers additional origin countries, the network is expected to grow corridor by corridor, following the same principle: a physical presence wherever members actually are, not just where it is administratively convenient for ILSI.

Coordinating across the network

Offices and liaison points share case information, with member consent, so that a worker who moves between the Nepal office and a destination-country liaison point does not have to restart their case from scratch. This coordination is what allows the continuity described in the ILSI difference to hold together in practice, not just as a stated principle. It is also why joining ILSI through one office, described in how to join, gives a member standing across the entire network, not only at the location where they enrolled.
